AS Monaco: Aleksandr Golovin updated on injury.

Monaco's head coach, Leonardo Jardim, has confirmed that Aleksandr Golovin is out for the rest of the season with an ankle injury.

The Russian midfielder was substituted in the second half of Monaco's match against Lille last weekend and was immediately taken to hospital where he underwent surgery. Golovin has been ruled out of the remainder of the season due to the severity of his injury.

Jardim said: "We will have to wait until Monday morning to see the results of the scan but we believe it's serious."
