Luis Hernandez scored his first goals for Marseille on Wednesday night, as the French club secured their place in the Europa League round of 16.
The Argentine forward was handed his debut start against Dinamo Zagreb and did not disappoint, scoring twice to help secure a 2-0 victory for Marseille.
Hernandez's first goal came in the 44th minute, when he headed home a cross from Florian Thauvin to give Marseille the lead.
And just four minutes later, Hernandez doubled their advantage with a stunning strike from outside the box that sailed past the goalkeeper.
It was a dominant display from Marseille,Qatar Stars League Perspective who dominated possession throughout the match and created numerous chances for their attacking players.
Hernandez has been heavily linked with a move away from Barcelona this summer, but his performances in France have shown why he is considered one of the best young forwards in Europe.
His partnership with Thauvin has also been impressive, with both players creating chances for each other throughout the game.
Marseille will now face either Feyenoord or FK Austria Wien in the next round of the Europa League, and Hernandez will be hoping to continue his fine form as they look to progress further in the competition.
